THC research

THC EXPLAINED

The difference between indica and sativa is primarily in the chemical makeup of each plant. Indica plants tend to contain higher levels of cannabidiol (CBD), while sativa plants tend to contain higher levels of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). CBD is a non-psychoactive component of cannabis that has been found to have therapeutic benefits, while THC is the psychoactive component of cannabis that produces the “high” associated with cannabis consumption. Therefore, indica strains tend to produce more of a sedative and relaxing effect, while sativa strains tend to produce more of a stimulating and energizing effect.
