Burdock Root is another root that is high in Iron & calcium. Burdock is great for cleansing the blood, great to combat with allergies, clearing skin deficiencies like acne, & aids in weight loss.Burdock has been used to reduce swelling and inflammation. Burdock is used an anti fungal and used to relive the body from mucus. Since Burdock is high in calcium it is great for bone strength. Additionally Burdock Root cleanses the kidney from uric acid. Burdock is best used while fasting or on an alkaline diet otherwise you will receive minimal benefits.

Add 1 tablespoon of herb per 2 cups of natural spring or distilled water. Boil for 15/18 minutes on medium heat. Steep for an additional 30 minutes, strain and enjoy!
